The United States has a long history of being a refuge for people seeking safety and a better life for themselves and their families. However, the immigration continues to be one of the most polarizing issues in America. There is much in the news and media about immigration, yet Teresa Stambaugh was interested in seeing first-hand what was happening at the border. In February 2019, Teresa traveled to a small town on the American/Mexican border.
On UMW Sunday, February 2, 2020, Teresa will share her experiences of this journey. She will speak at both services. Please come to hear her and celebrate the UMW’s role in both our church and outside our walls.
Special offering will be split between I-Care and Faith & Fellowship.
